Blue Jays Twins Split in Toronto

The Twins and Jays played a quick 2-game series in the Rogers Centre Monday and Tuesday with the Twins winning Monday's game, 8-3, on some big hitting by Morneau and good work by the pen. The Jays returned the favor today, winning 11-2. Pavano didn't have his best stuff and Mahay and Crain gave up a big inning late in the game. Shawn Marcum pitched very well for the Jays today, going 7 innings. He allowed a run on 5 hits and 2 walks. He struck out 3.
A split on the road is ok, but the situational hitting still leaves a whole lot to be desired.

The same can be said for the Jays.
We've been able to pile on loads at times, but when it matters, there just isn't a twig to hit the ball.
