Twins might as well pack it up and go golfing. How the Twins continue to struggle against New York is amazing. It's like they just give up before the game even starts.

I called the AROID grand slam.. why would you walk tex to get to aroid is beyond me. Terrible coaching and pitching once again.

Its about time the Twins realize that they can win in New York. I guess Rauch didn't get the memo that closers are supposed to throw cookies in the 9th inning.

    Re: Damn the Yankees

Rauch looked like crap yesterday. Everything he threw was hittable. Too bad the team can't beat the Yankees or Boston for the matter. Maybe a better bet is to forfeit the games vs Yankees so we all can do something else. This crap is getting old.

They did pretty well tonight winning 8-2. Blackburn gave up 10 hits in 7 innings, but only 2 runs.

    Re: Damn the Yankees

That's how Blackburn pitches. He'll never throw a no-hitter, but he won't walk many guys, either. He pitches to contact, and sometimes those hits find open spaces, as opposed to finding gloves. As long as his sinker is down in the strike-zone, he won't get hurt too badly.
Nice to see Kubel hit a couple of homers tonight, too. Hopefully, this is the start of his return to form.
