yes..... Also we won 2-0 at Detroit. We are now 14-6 overall.. Nice start to the season. Rauch has seven saves so far. Watch the final pitch he threw to end the game. Nasty 12 to 6 curveball.

If Liriano is, indeed, back, the Twins do not have to worry about who their "ace" is.

Here is something to ponder, what happens next season when Nathan is back? Will Rauch want to be a set up man or will he want to leave the Twins to be a closer? Right now he is looking good as our closer.

His contract expires at the end of this season. Not sure what he'll want. I'm sure the Twins will be happy to keep him on their roster.

Surprised no one posted about the Span call tonight. Well, I think either the ump has a vendetta against Span (tossed him yesterday) or uh, he's lazy. He didn't go out too far to watch. Missed call. Rick Sutcliffe was on the soapbox about instant replay and challenges again.

The missed call led to 6 runs I believe, including 3 straight doubles. The re-animated corpse of Magglio Ordonez had a big night.

I'm not going to blame that missed call for the Twins not pitching well tonight. Baker seems to be floundering, and he's supposed to be the ace.
Good comeback by the Tigers. Tomorrow is the rubber-match with Pavano going against Dontrelle Willis.

Former marlins, who landed big contracts, went into hiding, and well.. at least Pavano is back.
