Wednesday, Carl Pavano faces Eddie Bonine.
Thursday, Scott Baker goes against Nate Robertson.
The Twins are 14-9 this month and have gained 1.5 games on the Tigers. Can they continue this "hot" play?

Looks like a beautiful day in Detroit. The Twins are down 1-0 after Cuddyer couldn't catch a hard-hit ball down the 1st base line.
Should be a great ball game and then there's another game tonight.

Pretty sweet video of Joe Mauer standing on second base signaling Justin Verlander's pitches to Jason Kubel at-bat as best he can. Earflap for the curveball, face for the fastball, with Kubel waiting for a fastball. Gerald Laird has to reset the signs several times.

If you're the yankees, who would you rather see win the division? Or does it even matter? I think if the twins had Morneau, they would be an interesting play against the yankees.

I don't really think it matters much. The Yankees should win the first series without much trouble.
