We're Going to Kansas City, Kansas City Here We Come

The Twins will take their road-show to Kansas City next. They played a bit better in Texas, getting a split of the 4-game series there.
Here are the matchups for this weekend:
Tonight, Blackburn v. Hochevar.
Saturday, Duensing v. Davies.
Sunday, Pavano v. Bannister.
The Twins may catch a break by not facing Meche and Greinke this weekend.

Twins need to get their SP to do something right. Giving up the one big inning everynight is definitely not it. There are going to be nights where the club is going to struggle at the plate, and when the pitching staff gives up a 3 4 or 5 run inning, might as well just mark it up in the loss column.

The pitching matchups seem to be in the Twins' favor, but who knows? Maybe the team could bring Radke out of retirement for this series? He owned the Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
I like Blackburn over Hochevar and Pavano over Bannister but I don't know what to think about Duensing. His only start this season has been a decent one, and hopefully this one will be similar.

Cabrera does his thing in the 10th. Nathan threw 53 pitches tonight. My guess is that either Guerrier or Mijares gets the save op tomorrow if one comes up. Lets hope either of these guys has the chance.

Cuddyer homers twice in one inning (first Twin to ever do so) and MN pulls a sweep in KC for the first time in a long time.

A 5-2 road trip isn't bad for this team, regardless of who they played.
Now its time to take care of business at home.
