Twins On to Milwaukee for 3

The Twins picked up a much-needed win for Francisco Liriano tonight, 7-3. Liriano didn't appear to have pitched particularly well, but a win is a win. He threw 117 pitches in 5 innings allowing 7 hits and 5 walks. All 3 runs were earned as well.
Offensively, Morneau doubled twice and Crede drove in 3 runs. On a positive note, it looks like Gomez is starting to hit a bit better. This is very bad news for the rest of the AL Central, as if he can get on base regularly, Mauer, Morneau and Cuddyer will get lots of RBIs.
For the Brewers, Jeff Suppan took the loss.

Gomez leads off the game with a 3B to right. Harris follows with a fly to medium deep right field. Gomez trots in for the game's first run. Mauer was 3/3 against Looper at the Dome. Lets see if he can get it back together.

Ground out to 2B. At least he gets wood on the ball.

Brewers tie the series up on a wierd play. Kendall doubled in JJ Hardy and scored on a throwing error by Nick Blackburn. I'm sure that Blackburn would be the first to admit that his error was a dumb play, but it happened and the team lost. He had pitched very well tonight and had his second consecutive complete game, something that had not been done since Brad Radke did it. -- he also won one and lost one.
Trevor Hoffman picked up his first save against the Twins.

Span will be activated before tomorrow's game. Priddie is going back down again.

Hopefully he can add that much needed spark back into the lineup.

1/2 with 3 walks. 3 runs scored. I'd say he did OK today.
Twins win 6-4 with Baker picking up the win.
RA Dickey has very quietly put together a nice season for the Twins.
