Playing catcher and hitting .425 is highly unlikely to continue. I think he ends up in the .370 range.

I would agree, although the way the Twins are playing him, it is possible he'll only catch about 3 games a week. He'll DH the rest of the time, saving his legs a bit. They might go with 3 catchers all season, if Morales can learn to throw out runners.

He will be the only player I see to have a chance at it. There is no one better right now hitting the ball period. Mauer can do it all. If we did not sign Crede my guess is we would have played him at 3rd base to protect his legs and knees. Hard to argue with a guy hitting .426!
