Mauer's back!!!

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer has been activated from the disabled list after missing the first month of the season with a back injury.
Right-hander Juan Morillo was sent outright to Triple-A Rochester on Friday to make room on the roster.
Mauer went on the DL with an inflamed sacroiliac joint. He played five games at Class-A Fort Myers in a rehabilitation assignment. The Twins went 11-11 without Mauer, an All-Star and two-time AL batting champion.
Morillo made three appearances for the Twins after being claimed off waivers April 17 from the Colorado Rockies.

Nice to see the Twins win Mauer's first game back. He homered in his first AB tonight. I'm sure the house was rocking when he did that. Morneau also homered and the Twins won 7-5 with Slowey beating Sir Sydney Ponson.

Yeah, really nice to see his impact is felt immediately.

Unfortunately, the Twins could not win more than the first of this 3-game series.
Baker appears to have pitched better today, but ran into a wall. I think we've all seen it.
