Question Dickey or Humber for the Pen?

With these 2 guys competing for one spot, or at least that is the way it appears, which would you pick?
Dickey is older and has been around quite a while, but is currently not on the 40 man roster. Humber is out of options, but is on the 40 man roster. To send him down to AAA would expose him to waivers.

With Scott Baker starting the season on the DL, it appears both may make the trip north.

Baker and Mauer starting the year on the DL. Ouch. Rough start for the Twins and could be a long with for Mauer and that back.

Dickey is expected to start in Baker's spot on April 10th.

    That's what I was thinking.

Interesting note, though. Yahoo! Sports didn't have Dickey on the roster (which I know he's not)...they had Duensing and Humber.

I noticed that as well. Not sure what's going to happen, although Bonser could be moved to the 60-day DL to open another roster spot.
This is what I think will happen. Jason Jones, a Rule 5 pickup, was dealt to the Twins by the Yankees, so they can send him down. He will go down to Rochester and Dickey will be added once Bonser is moved to the 60-day DL.

Injury opens slot for Dickey | twinsbaseball.com: News

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- On Thursday, R.A. Dickey expressed hope that he'd get a chance to break camp with the Twins as their long reliever.

Now the knuckleballer will start the season as the club's No. 5 starter.

With the Twins having to place Scott Baker on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder stiffness, a temporary spot opened up in the club's rotation. Dickey, who was considered on the bubble for a roster spot, was the pitcher who got the nod to start against the White Sox in Chicago on April 10.
That should confirm that he made the team due to Baker's injury.

Dickey was added to the roster today and Jason Jones (rule 5 pickup from the Yankees, then traded for) was outrighted to Rochester.
