    Question Could Cuddyer Play 3B?

If Cuddyer could play at 3B, that would solve a few problems.
    1. He is a right handed hitter with a bit of pop in his bat that could hit between Mauer and Morneau if needed.
    2. It would allow the Twins to start an outfield of Span, Gomez and Delmon Young on a daily basis, and Kubel at DH.
    3. It would allow Harris to be another utility infielder, and Buscher to back up at both 1B and 3B.
    Thoughts?

While 3B was his first position, Gardy has said repeatedly that he does not want Cuddy at 3B. For what reason he won't say, but he likes Buscher and Harris there.

Maybe he's not as quick as he used to be, or wants to use 4 OF's + a DH to keep everyone rested.

Read reports today saying some within the organization feel Young will be gone sometime early in the season.

Delmon Young could net the Twins some very good prospects, or a usable infielder or 2, if he does well ths spring. Not sure I want to see him traded this quickly, but that may be best for the team.
