Good chance again for the sweep here. If we don't win out, we are going to need help from Cleveland....and Detroit if that game needs to be played.

Bryan Bullington-S-Indians Sep. 26 - 10:49 am et
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Bryan Bullington will start Sunday's season finale against the White Sox if Cliff Lee (neck) is unable to pitch.
Quite a dropoff, going from the likely Cy Young winner to a 27-year-old bust of a former No. 1 overall pick trying to salvage a career as a fifth starter or long reliever. The game may decide the AL Central winner, so the Twins will be rooting for Lee to pitch.
Twins are down 6-0, but the good news is that Cleveland is up on the Sox 9-4 right now.

happened to Liriano tonight?
Twins lost 8-1, but Cleveland beat Chicago....so nothing changes in the standings tonight.

Twins lose again.....Cleveland wins again.
We have a 1/2 game lead going into the last game of the regular season.

Twins win 6-0, however Chicago won today as well. So that means, tomorrow they will play the makeup game with Detroit. If Detroit wins, Minnesota clinches the division. If Chicago wins, it becomes a tie atop the AL Central, and a one game playoff in Chicago to determine the Division winner.

Wow, the Tigers have Freddy Garcia? I've been paying attention.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
I am rooting for the Twins. Two teams like the Rays and Twins with little payrolls makes me happy about our sport. Plus I like Morneau and Mauer.
On ESPN the other day Kurkjian said that the Twins' story this year (losing Hunter/Santana/Silva) would be the feel good story of the year if the Rays didn't have the success that they did. Just proves that money doesn't always buy you a ring.

We were at Saturday's game. The Twins just couldn't get a hit in a big situation. 4 double plays ended innings for them. Meche was luckier than good for the Royals, but Bonser couldn't get anyone out. Guerrier got the loss, but pitched well in the 6th inning, getting out of a bases-loaded, 1 out jam. Grounder to 3rd (a force at home) and a pop out to Morneau.
Like Gardy said after the game, everything the Royals hit found a hole.
