    Prospect September Call-ups

Obviously, the Twins will bring some pitchers up (Korecky, Mulvey?, Humber) to help in the pen. Possibly, they will add a pitcher or 2 to the 40-man roster, as there are 4 open spots (with the removal of Brian Bass). Possibilities for these spots?
Usually, a team brings up a 3rd catcher to help out, but Jose Morales is out for the season and they don't have another on their 40-man roster. Maybe they will add one?
Tolbert coming up is a given. Maybe Macri, Sergio Santos and Jason Pridie will come up as well?
Is there anyone you think should be added to fill the 4 open spots on the 40-man roster?

Don't forget about the signing of Keilty, either.

Here is the official story from the Twins' website:
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins announced after Saturday's game that six players will join the Major League club on Tuesday in Toronto, upon the completion of the Minor League schedule.

The following players will be recalled from Triple-A Rochester: Right-handed pitchers Phillip Humber (10-8, 4.56 ERA in 31 appearances, 23 starts) and Bobby Korecky (6-4, 2.84 ERA with 26 saves in 52 appearances), infielder Matt Macri (.253 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs in 87 games) and outfielder Jason Pridie (.270 with 12 home runs and 60 RBIs in 135 games).
The Twins will also select the contract of catcher Ryan Jorgensen (.251 with eight home runs and 25 RBIs in 62 games) from Triple-A Rochester. Infielder Matt Tolbert (.256 with three doubles and five RBIsa in 11 games) will be returned from his injury rehab assignment at New Britain and reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. In addition, the Twins will recall left-handed pitcher Jose Mijares (1-1, 2.63 ERA in 10 appearances) from Double-A New Britain, but he will not join the team until Friday in Minnesota. Humber will wear uniform No. 38, Korecky will wear 41, Macri will wear 27, Pridie will wear 11, Jorgensen will wear 44, Mijares will wear 50 and Tolbert will wear 20. Rochester hitting coach Riccardo Ingram will also join the Twins in Toronto, while trainer Tony Leo will join the team on Friday in Minnesota.

About time Korecky gets a shot. Also looking forward to seeing what Humber will do.

I like it. Tolbert was beasting it with the Twins until he got hurt. It will be nice to see how our young pitching prospects perform at the top level.

This could give the bullpen some help. Not to mention, with Neshek and Cuddyer on the DL, a couple of these guys could be added to the post-season roster if they do well this month.
Maybe we'll see the last of Boof Bonser until next spring.
