Young injured his ankle Monday night, and Everett got drilled in the hand by a foul ball while sitting in the dugout.
Good news is that Casilla could be back with the Twins for the upcoming series against the Angels.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
Matt Tolbert started his rehab assignment also. Good news all around. It would have been nice to have Cuddyer back this season, though.

How exactly did Everett get hit in the hand while in the dugout? Aren't there like....fences or whatever in front of the dugouts in Minnesota?
No, they are open completely.

As things turn out, it appears Cuddyer is planning to be back for the last couple of weeks. Hopefully, his return will spark a great stretch run.

Where did you read that? I didn't see anything on the Twins' site.
Something I found on the Twins' site though....

I watched the Twins "squeezeplay" yesterday. John Gordon and Dan Gladden were talking about Cuddyer on the radio broadcast.

As to the dugouts at the Dome, I would think they will likely have fences put up in front of them to avoid things like this in the future. I'm surprised no one has been seriously hurt in the 24 years the Dome has been home to the Twins.
