Side note too, Slowey so far this year was averaging only 4 k's per game. He's throwing great tonight.

Twins win 13-2. Slowey k's 12. Bass comes in relief, and can you believe it, he doesn't give up a run.

You guys absolutely crushed us. Figures, we had it coming for us after winning yesterday. Good game. Rubber match tomorrow.

Today's matchup features Fransisco Liriano V. Dallas Braden. Liriano has pitched well since his recall and Braden has looked pretty good his last 5 starts.

Sure wish espn would televise the game. Should be a good match pitching wise. It would be nice for Seattle to win today!

Side note: Yankees are all but done this year. We should not need to worry about them anymore.

Street came on in the 6th to strike out Harris. The bases were loaded as well, why would they the A's have there closer come in and pitch in the 6th inning?

The Twins hang on for the win. Liriano with the W, Nathan with the S. Good series guys.

Liriano clearly didn't have his best stuff today, but found a way to win the game. Bonser came in and pitched pretty well, followed by Reyes (1 hitter), Crain and Nathan. Has Crain taken the 8th inning job?
The A's played pretty well in the Dome this week. I wish them well the rest of the way.
