Twins are back in 1st place. Red Sox 5, White Sox 1, wasting a very good start by John Danks.
Lets hope Blackburn is on tomorrow night against Mussina.

Twins lose in 12 innings last night 9-6.

Today, Twins win and win the series 2 games to 1 on a Home Run by Delmon win, final score 4-2.

Twins win game three of the series 4-2. Twins win 2 of 3 games vs the Yanks! Now we gained a full game on them in the wild card race. If Chicago loses tonight back in first we will go.

Delmon Young homers again! He might be correct that he is a second half of the season hitter.. Side note Twins are 14 games over .500.. Who would have thought this would happen with the young players we have. Great to see it though!

The team played well in this series, and now they get a chance to pay Seattle back a bit. Lets hope for better results and effort than we saw out west.

Its about time Delmon stated hitting for power. They are going to need his bat in the coming months.

I agree. With Cuddyer on the shelf, possibly for the season now, they need a right-handed bat to step up to take some of the load off Morneau and Mauer. Young could be just the bat they need.

A side-note on the past series. Mariano Rivera blew his first save of the season in the Yankees only win.

Casilla should be back this week correct? His bat at the top of the order would help out as well.
