Yesterday, Cuddy took 25 soft toss swings to test his injured finger. Today, he took approximately 40 swings. He says he feels 100% ready to start his rehab stint, however no date has been set yet as to when that will be.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
This is the best news we fans could receive. Getting him back would be like making a trade right now.

Cuddyer better not re injure his hand. We would have loved his strong arm back but never was too crazy about his plate appearances. Span is a decent, no VERY GOOD replacement. I now can see Span as the 4th outfielder whenever one of them get winded up or get injured.

Gardy reports that Cuddy will report for his rehab assignment on Monday....needing 4 or 5 games to effectively gauge how comfortable he will be.
So, a week and a half, maybe 2 and Cuddy will be back?

Twins remain in second place in the WC. They need Cuddy back to stay in th hunt.
Adding Cuddyer and Liriano was like making a big trade. They get a lot better.

Absolutely! Twins didn't need to make a big trade while sacrificing the future.
