Twins @ Tribe for a 3 game set

It is nice to see the Twins get a win, albeit over a team that is obvious "rebuild" mode. The Indians traded Casey Blake to the Dodgers for a couple of prospects yesterday. I wish him well in LA. He's a nice young man that I've had the pleasure of talking to several times at functions here in Iowa.
Back to the Twins -- I hope Blackburn pitches well, and forgets about Yankee Stadium, tomorrow.

Twins win today behind a strong showing from Blackburn (7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K).

It was tied at 2 in the top of the 9th, and the Twins put 2 across to go up 4-2, then Joe Nathan comes in the bottom of 9 to record his 28th save.

Twins take 2 of 3, and are hoping for a ChiSox loss to gain some ground.

The Tigers held the Sox off today. The Twins are 2.5 out with the Sox coming to the Dome for 4 games then the Indians for 3. Could be a good time to make up some ground.

I hope the Twins have their momentum started in Cleveland to be brought into this very important series.
