Twins Morneau in HR Derby... again

The field for Monday's All-Star Home Run Derby (8 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Yankee Stadium is complete.

Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau was named as the eighth and final competitor for the derby Sunday.

Interesting....I'm probably going to miss the derby though.

Hopefully the pitching to Morneau will be better!

Hopefully Morneau will do better than the last time! Maybe it'll rejuvenate his power hitting again for the 2nd half?

Maybe, but it could just as easily mess up his swing for a while. Lots of people have slumps right after they participate in the derby and Justin has been really hot recently.

    Let's hope it's not a deja vu.

Wow. So it's Sizemore, Morneau, Longoria, Hamilton, Uggla, Utley, Braun, Berkman. Not quite up to the standard that has been around in years past. I would have liked to have seen guys like A-rod, Pujols, Howard, Wright, Dunn, Manny, Vlad, Giambi, etc either accept their invites or be invited, if only because the field is so weak. Not to mention that Lance "The Idiot" Berkman plans on batting right handed.
