Twins Twins are on a tear!!!

Twins have won 6 in a row!!! The starting rotation has a 6-0 record through it all, while the team has swept both the Nats and the D-Backs. They have outscored opponents 40-12 in the last 6 games!!

Twins take to the road now for a 3 game series at San Diego, last place in the NL West. Here's another good chance to show their skills in an interleague matchup away from home.

    Keep it up boys!!!

It's a good stretch, but the Nationals suck and the D-Backs are struggling. Definitely a good sign though for a team who had fairly low expectations.

And going to San Diego (who isn't playing all that well either) will help boost the confidence of the young guys. For a team who was supposed to be a cellar dweller most of the year, being only 2 games back from the White Sox is pretty stellar IMO.

I would have to agree with you. This team has outperformed nearly everyone's expectations.

Twins go into SD and win, 3-1. Buscher hits his first homer of the year, and Slowey pitches a gem, 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB and 7 K's.

    Well done, Twins!

Taking Hoffman deep twice in an inning was pretty impressive. The Twins do not hit many homers and are -38 in homers this season. Nice to see a couple of big ones tonight.
Did anyone else notice that Buscher doesn't have much of a home run trot yet? I hope to see him have lots of practice yet this season. He's a really big guy in person.

Perkins gets the win as the Twins beat the 4th Cy Young winner in 5 games beating Maddux and the Pads 9-3.

Harris hits his second homer in as many games, and Craig Monroe also goes deep. Morneau's hitting streak does come to an end, however at 12 games.

Were on a roll! Best team in baseballl over the past 10 games. Eight games won in a row. 1/2 game out of first!

Now its time if ever Polad steps up and signed the missing piece or two to make us a top contender. As we know Polad usually doe's nothing and like last season we sank, due to Carl being Carl!

Twins need to Call up the Reds and ask about Dunn or at least Griffey Jr, Both could be the everyday dh. Another Team to look into is the Jays (Rollen) or Pirates (Bay).

Any one have anyone else that could possibly be had?

Twins come back from behind again!!!

A quality start and the win for Baker, who's looking pretty dang good since coming back from his stint on the dl. He helps his own cause by going 1-1 with 2 sacs and a run scored.

Redmond has a productive day at the plate while Mauer has the day off. 2-5 with a run scored. Morneau goes 3-4 with 3 rbi's, hitting his 12th homer of the year.

9 games in a row baby! And 3 series sweeps in a row!! Beat that!

    GO TWINS GO!

I still don't think the Twins have enough to get the division. I am still counting on the likes of Cleveland or even Detroit to turn things around.

ok Bon Bon. Like you have a clue to whats really going on. Twins have enough I would say. Liriano is sitting in AAA waiting to get called up. We will see who makes the playoffs and who won't!

The Twins starters are getting the job done recently. They are solid at every position now, with Buscher doing well at 3B. I like this team more now than I did earlier in the season. I think the Twins could actually make a decent run at a playoff position. And people thought I was nuts when I predicted 88 wins from this team.
