    Twins Twins - Brewers Series

    Game 1

Twins come out and hit the ball around the park. 10-2 currently in the bottom of the 8th inning. Slowey has pitched one of his better games of the year, he also is 2-4 at the plate with two rbis.

Bad note: MINNESOTA OUTFIELDER MICHAEL CUDDYER LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SECOND INNING DUE TO A BRUISED RIGHT HAND. I did not see this I don't know if he was hit on the hand or if this happened in the field.

Brewers for some reason always bring the best out of the Twins. This series we must win. We need to start to gain ground on the White Soxs. I hope Gardy lets Slowey pitch the 9th for the complete game!

Typical Ron Gardenhire he pull Slowey in the 9th! Why not rest the pen? Why not give Slowey a complete game? Stupid call by a below average manager.

Cuddyer was hit by a pitch in the 1st inning. It was a riding fastball that just rode too much inside. He couldn't get out of the way. Kubel moved to Right and Delmon Young came in to play Left. Young was 3/4 tonight and looked much more comfortable at the plate.
It is possible that Slowey was given the option of hitting (running bases again) and finishing the game or giving an easy finish to Guerrier.

    Game 2

After Nathan's blown save in the 9th, the Twins put up a 5 spot in the top of the 12th to win 9-4. How about Delmon Young??? 3-4 with an rbi last night, 3-6 with an rbi tonight. Nice to see him have a little bit of a hot streak.

Downside...Nathan blows a save, and go-go-Gomez goes oh-oh-0 for 6. Team leaves 20 runners on base. Ouch.

Everyone is human, Henks. Nathan has done a pretty good job of closing games. Everyone will give up a homer to a guy like Branyan once in a while.

Oh I know. I'm more upset about Gomez going 0 fer. It was nice to see Cuddy right back in there for the pinch hit in the 12th, too.

Its a win boys! We need to play the Brewers more often. We kill them in interleague play. How about Boucher tonight. Kid hit the ball well and drove in a run or two. Good call up!

The kid could be the short-term answer at 3B. Move Macri to 2B and Casilla to SS. That could be an exciting infield.
