How are they doing this with that lineup?
Minnesota still has a pretty good lineup. Mauer is off to a good start, Morneau and Monroe are doing pretty well too. They also got Cuddyer back from the DL and he's helped quite a bit.Originally Posted by Bon Bon

Mauer and Cuddy are batting over .300, Morneau is leading the team in RBI's, Gomez is a thief on the bases, Harris is producing in the 2 hole....I think they are surprising a lot of people.

Yeah you've got quite a few surprises in your lineup. That lineup might not look like much on paper (especially compared to some other lineups in the league), but on the field they can really hit the ball.
Mauer, Cuddy, & Morneau are proven hitters and will produce. Hopefully for the sake of the Twins that players like Harris and Gomez can keep it up throughout the season because the Twins don't really have a bad rotation or bullpen.
Staying healthy is key for these guys.

We're two games over .500 with a sweep of the Tigers. Best part of it all was after the first inning we were down 6-0, and we scored seven runs and won the game!

Yeah, it's really great when a team can come back from such a large deficit and get the win. Especially against a division rival.
It was really nice to see Boof put it on lockdown after that horrible first inning. Only 4 hits allowed after that first inning. Now if we can only keep him from having that bad first inning, he would have a helluva season.
