1 homer in 1,221 attempts for this lanky man-kid. Just hit his first HR vs Jake Westbrook at Jacobs Field.
Wow. Never expect that would happen in his entire MLB career, WTG, Tyner!

1221 attempts is a whole lot. Congrats.
He is a guy that will never hit 5 homers in a season.. If he did the drug testing would be all over him. Good to see he FINALLY homered. Twins up 2-0. Santana looks real good.

Perhaps. Remember one time when Joe Nathan was doing his usual job, closing up the game. He once pitched 100, 101 MPH ball. He was asked to do the drug test after. Crazy.
Santana 10 Ks in the first 5 innings alone. I'm kinda happy considering we're in the middle of this slump right now.
The jerk ruined my perfect High Roller bets.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
11k's for Santana. bottom of the 7th. He has a 1 hitter going as well!

I'm hoping for the 12th K tonight. He's starting to be worn out.
How typical is this. Santana was up 0-2 on Hafner and the sob hits a 2 run homer! What I dont get is why Santana did not get yanked? The homer has killed him this season. GardenFIRE needs to be fired. He makes some of the worst decisons ever. Santana had over 100 pitches at the point. what part does save the ace mean? GardenFIRE has said this many times only to second guess himself once again!
Either make a trade to help the club, or SELL SELL SELL!

It was not totally Santana's fault. I mean this guy was pitching his arm out. It's typical of a starting pitcher getting tired when he gets to 100 pitches mark. He gave up too much HRs this season so this one was kind of expected. Meanwhile, I never adored Gardenhire's managing philosophy. He has given his players too much second chance. I guess he has no sense of caution where he should stop and make changes before it's too late. That's one of his many flaws in his managerial career. It always has been his problems since the day he got hired. He just needs to stop praising his players too much despite how sucky they are sometimes. We need to get rid of him somehow. SOMEHOW!
Boucher has his first rbi as a Twin. On a fielders choice. I dont understand the call, no one was out on the play. There was one out when his was batting. So if this is correct is should have been scored a hit. Anyways Twins up 3-2 bottom of the 9th. We could gain a game on both Detroit and the Indians.

One more out and we win. Save us a game, Joe Nathan!
So we won. What a pathetic ending. Why the heck did Ron Gardenhire decide to stick on a tiring pitcher. For crying out loud, Santana was on the verge to give up several homeruns and well he did one. I don't really understand how Gardenhoser can really see in his own team. He's just lucky his team has several good players to able to win games.
I never understand him at all. Never will. Not in my lifetime.
Ditto on the Buscher play. Ask those statisticians.
Ullger has had a scare himself. I wonder if he's alright after being hit by a ball in the dugout.
Jason Tyner's "shot" reminds me of Otis Nixon's only homer as a Twin. It was a big deal on the opening of the broadcasts for a couple of days.
The Twins did a nice job in Cleveland -- the pen seems to be settled a bit.

Last night vs Royals in the dome, he nearly gotten his second one. Just a few inches from hitting another one. Ended up a triple, I'll take that.
Tyner 0, the baggy 1.
Congrats to Jason Tyner. The monkey is off his back!!!!
Good Job!!
