Twins win a big game in Detroit tonight by the score of 11-1! Pitching did an outstanding job tonight. Things went well scoring runs and Morneau looks good at the plate. 3-5 tonight with a couple rbi's. Mauer hits a grand slam that put us ahead for good.

Great game tonight. We gained a game on Detroit but Indians won again so were 5.5 games back. Slowey pitches tomorrow afternoon, here's hoping he pitches well.

Twins win game two today 8-5. Slowey did enough to get his third win of the season. He is now 3-0. Cuddyer and Ford each homer and drive in three runs each.

Tomorrow we go for the sweep. We gain 2 games on Detroit..

Gaining two games is huge for the Twins. They just need to keep in winning and they could just get back into this playoff oicture. They do have some great players and pitchers.

Winning the first 2 games of the series is very big. This puts all the pressure on the Tigers in tomorrow's game. They cannot afford to get swept at home by a division rival, especially after handling the Twins so easily last year.
Bonderman has to pitch very well. Baker has no pressure on him at all.

If Baker pitches like his last outing and the hitters stay hot we will win this game easily. Baker keeps the ball down in the strikezone he will keep the bats on Detroit quiet. Will be very interesting to see what the ESPN guys have to say about the Twins ball club!
