I know a few friends who caught some games with Revere and they really liked what they saw from him, of course it's hard to dislike the mashing he did in 2007 despite the level of play he is at. But with such a young guy like that, negotiations to get the team the best deal should be thrown to the wayside as he will have a significant amount of playing time now of course to hopefully get key development... unlike the teams who wait until later and only have their kids get their feet barely wet in one of the rookie leagues. Good move by Ryan and Co.

Revere looks like a guy that can be real good in time. Still young and can become a top player in the Twins future. Looking forward to what he can do.

He's likely going to start his career in either Elizabethton or with the GC Twins. He should reach the Midwest League next season, and I'll get a chance to see him when he does.
