Sign Dimitri Young

Put Kubel in the DL. Kubel hasn't played in recent weeks. That could get Young in the playoff roster. Young can sub for Kubel.

As far as the report, it's just speculation. Tigers made him a scrapegoat for Dimitri's problems for their struggles. If the Tigers were winning and having a 10-game lead in the Central, would he be released. I don't think so.

Young can hit.

why sign him? where would he play in the field? Nevin and White have been playing alot better. I dont see a fit for Young on the Twins right now. Unless we sign him and play in AAA.

I see we are now 3 out of first, Santana on the mound tomorrow sure looks like we will be 2 out of first! What a race we are in.

Nevin and Young can share time at DH. I prefer Young.

White can play at LF.

If the Twins could sign Dmitri's little brother as a package, I'd take them both. As it is, I don't think Dmitri would be an upgrade at any position.
Rondell White is starting to hit pretty well. Phil Nevin was selected because of his versatility -- he can play LF, 3B, 1B and catcher, as well as DH.
Dmitri Young's role would be as a DH, IMO.
