    Twins Twins at O's (8/22 - 8/24)

The start of a 6 game road trip where the Twins have a real legitimate shot at passing up the White Sox as well as possibly gain ground on the Tigers (possibly being the key word).

Twins don't do too well in the opening game, losing 3-6. Silva looked absolutely terrible giving up 5 freakin' home runs to the Orioles in the first 5 innings. SOmehow, someway, all 5 were solo shots.

Lowen pitched a good game before the Twins got ahold of former Twin, Latroy Hawkins in the 9th and picked up a couple of pity runs on a triple by Mauer, who was then knocked in by cuddy.

Game 2 is tomorrow at 7pm (CT) with Garza on the mound. Hopefully he is calmed down and going to start pitching up to his supposed potential.

The bullpen has been flat out lights out this season and they helped Garza get his win.

Garza had a good game, definitely. Too bad we have Boof on the mound tonight. Sometimes he can look good, but more often than not, he looks pretty sad and has been a trainwreck very early as well.

Rubber match is at 7pm tonight (CT)
