Twins Twins vs White Sux (8/18 - 8/20)

Game one Twins win a big one 7-3! 1 game out of playoffs race also 1 game out of 2nd. Detroit is cooling off this will be a race for first! 7.5 games back with 41 games to go.

Bonser pitched good tonight. Held a top hitting team to 3 runs ib 6 1/3 innings. Cant complain about that. Must win next two games and we are back in the playoffs and a possible 5 1/2 games out a first.

Twins ended up winning 2 of the 3 games vs the Sox. Good enough to only pick up one game on them . Radke didn't have a horrible game but didn't have a good one on Saturday night and he got zero run support. Radke gave up his first HR in the past 29 innings (incredible stat for Brad).

Today, Santana was spot on again. Not his best performance of the year, but damn solid in earning his 15th win of the season in 7 innings of work, only giving up 1 run while fanning 5.

Twins are 6.5 back of Detroit and 1 game behind the Sox. Next up, the Twins hit the road for 3 games vs Baltimore and then 3 more games against the South Siders to close out next weekend. These 6 road games are incredibly important. Especially considering that the Sox play their next 4 games at Detroit.

The next 13 games are important for the Twins. I think it can really tell if they can make a run or not.
