Liriano is finally an all star!

Damn Guillen! Should have made Liriano a choice right away! Injury or not Liriano deserved it, this is why a manager should have no choice in who to pick.

I heard early this morning that he was going to be there, but I didn't hear who he replaced.

He is replacing Jose Contreras who started on Sunday.
Liriano no question deserved to be on the all-star team. He just deserved to be on there from the start, not replacing somebody else. But at least he made it.

Thanks and I agree, dude should have been there before the fan voting shit went into effect for that 'wild card' spot.

Liriano most definately deserved a spot by having the best ERA in the AL during the first half of the season. The kid is something special and I am glad to see him getting to be apart of this years all-star game.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

That's pretty crazy. Contreras pitched on Sunday, so he has to be replaced, yet Halladay and Santana both also pitched on Sunday and Halladay pitches 2 innings in the All-Star game while Santana pitches one inning. Fug Contreras.

Too bad he didn't get to throw. Of course, the way that Ozzie is such an asshole, the game could have gone to 13 innings and Lirianno may never have stepped foot on the mound.

Good to see that an undeserving Rogers got to start and throw a couple innings. Halladay should have been the starter, Rogers never should have gotten more than 1 inning.

Ozzie sucks! He I think was forced to take Liriano then he decided not to let him pitch. I know damn well that Ozzie and the Twins dont like each other.

To bad Mauer did not get a hit. His last at bat was hit hard at the pitcher. he would have had an RBI.

I hope we beat the crap out of the suxs!! Maybe that will finally shut up Guillen.

Liriano got robbed of a CGSHO tonight when Gardenhire pulls Justin Morneau and puts in Terry Tiffee at 1B, who promptly makes a fielding error.

What's a CGSHO? Complete Game something something something?

BTW: are you trying to say Gardy doesn't know what he's doing? I know I fully back everything he does.
