    Twins win 6th straight!

Twins are playing there best baseball of the season. Twins win tonight 5-3 over the Pirates. Lohse came in and did a great job tonight, Morneau Kubel and Tiffee homer tonight.

Santana on the mound tomorrow. Looks like win streak may get to 7 games and we will be back to 500!!

Too bad its being heavily overshadowed by Chicago and Detroit.

True but we have several games with them. Long way to go. Tigers will fall apart. All I see is Chicago to contend with. Lets see where Twins are at by the All Star Break..

    Coming from a moderate standpoint:

Can Minnesota really compete against Buehrle/Contreras/Garcia/Garland with only Liriano/Santana? Can Morneau/Mauer match Thome/Dye/Konerko?

Sure Detroit has to cool down, but do the Twins have enough momentum to catch up?

Kueble is hitting the ball very well, Stewart will be off the dl soon. I do see a need to get one more top sp, if we are close Polad will spend to get the pitcher or a bat if needed.

Perhaps. All depends on if Morneau can keep up the rest of the season, what he's done the past 10-12 days.

I hate to laugh at a fellow Twins fan, but I have to LOL at this one. No way in hell does Pohlad spend a dime on anyone during FA this season. No trade, no nothing.

The only thing Pohlad spends time doing anymore is hoping he can depend on his Depends
