DETROIT -- Three weeks into the season, the American League's leading hitter wears a Twins uniform. Next year, he could easily be playing for someone else.
Jacque Jones isn't sweating it. In his final year before free agency, he said, his main focus still is helping the Twins win.
So far, he's leading the league with a .400 batting average and owns an AL-best .500 on-base percentage.
Those numbers stayed the same all weekend, as wintry weather postponed the Twins' games at Detroit on Saturday and Sunday.
