    4/21/05: Royals/Twins

    Twins will go for the two-game sweep this afternoon at the Dome and then go to Detroit for the weekend. It would be nice to get a sweep after a crazy win last night. Wins against KC is a must.

    Dave Gassner will try to build on that great pitching performance in his first ever start in the majors last Saturday. It would be nice to see him pitch well. It gives the Twins options in case Joe or Kyle stink it up.

    Joe Nathan is even better than last year. I just saw that inning and he was lightining fast out there. He made quick work of the Royals here.

    Let's hope we can get this one more run and get it over with.

    Twins better score here with the bases loaded. I have been sick of seeing the Twins strand the runners on the bases with the bases loaded this entire week

    I want this game over with. I don't want the Royals to get another shot of winning this game.

    This is a game the Twins really need to win with She-ca-go winning their game this afternoon at Comerica. We had to go out and beat the Royals. It would have been very embrassing to lose to them. That team stinks.

    Dimitri Young is looking pretty dumb since his remarks that the Tigers and Indians were the teams to beat this year in the Central!!

    Give Chicago time to tire, they can't keep this winning thing going for too long. As long as we can hang in there a game or two back, we're good!

    DG: If the Twins keep winning, they will get the wild card at best. They just gotta win and everything will take care of itself. Today was a great win.

    I rip Dimitri Young pretty good in the Tigers/Twins thread last week if you can click through the archives of this very young Twins board. I call Dimitri as the mouth that roar. I had no idea what in the world was he thinking ripping the Twins. It's one thing for him to say that his team will win it all, but then to degrade other teams is uncalled for.

    I haven't had a chance to read everything but I'm working on it. I've got to play catch-up here!

    Thanks again for giving me the heads up on where you guys were (on this forum), I was feeling lost!!!

    Great win for the Twins. Tomorrow we get Silva and Justin back and all will be right with the Twins!
