I have been reading articles about the starting rotation for the Brewers next year. I just hope they do not allow Vargas to be the #5. He should take Villanueva's spot as the long man in the bullpen at best. He stunk up the joint last year. I really feel the Brewers rotation should look like this to at least start the season:


Sheets
Suppan
Gallardo
Villenueva
Bush/Capuano


Parra could be another option as the long man out of the bullpen as well. Just trade Vargas.

Brewers say they still want/like Gywnn, but they just don't feel he is ready to be an everyday player just yet. Personally, I feel they need to keep him as their #4 OF this year and make Gross their #5.

2 in May (10th vs. St. Louis and 17th at Boston)

1 in Aug. (2 at Atlanta)

I would NOT mind seeing the Brewers sign Kenny Lofton to a one-year contract. He is still available and would probably come rather cheap, plus as we all know the Brewers could always trade him at the deadline for pitching, just like every other team has done the past several years with Lofton.
