No deal: Utility man Bill Hall will not sign a multiyear deal this season. Melvin said talks with Hall's representatives, Scottie Pachino and Josh Yates, broke off this week. Hall, who is 26, signed a one-year deal for $420,000 earlier in camp and is eligible for arbitration after this season.
"They decided to stay with a one-year deal," Melvin said. "The agents felt our offer wasn't a representative offer.
"There are no hard feelings at all."

Well this is no a big worry and we see that Hall just simply wants more money after this season. I only know him as a Reds killer, so id he worth a few extra dollars to keep around after this season?
