    Brewers Hoffman is done.

Hoffman needs to call it a career. He just doesn't have it anymore. He is going to leave baseball with a bad taste in his mouth after a great career. He is quickly becoming one of those athletes that just won't accept the fact he is getting old and needs to retire gracefully.

As for Melvin and Macha, can the Brewers also end the fans misery and fire those two clowns as well. Melvin continues to sign these washed up relief pitchers and over pay for average starters. This Brewers' fan is one pissed off fan. I am just tired off the Brewers settling for average. The fans have come out in huge numbers and continue to support this team and the front office is not living up to the fans standards. Willie Randolph is sitting there as the bench coach, lets shake up this team and lets start with the GM and the manager. Rick Peterson is not the answer either. The pitching staff actually looks worse this year than last. I can't believe it was possible, but it is reality.

I really wish Dale Sveum would be our GM. When Yost was fired I think he did a great job...As for the Trevor situation, you're too pissed so I won't comment

At least keep him in long enough to get 6 more saves.

We will keep him, I truly believe he'll retire a Brewer. I think this is just a bump in the road. We had a bad season with pitching 2 years ago and wound up in the playoffs. Can't rely on the guy every time. Nobody is perfect. We go to San Diego and he might get to pitch so he might shake off the cob webs and do really great...Just a thought.

I'm hoping he can pitch against the Padres and hopefully get the monkey off his back and do really well the rest of the year......

Doesn't Hoffman go through this once a year usually? I feel like DK and I made fun of him a couple of years ago for the very same atrocity.

Or that was Billy Wagner. Maybe both.

Yeah, that's normal for him. Pretty sure. You or mofo or leo can hunt those threads down since you all are skilled hunters.

That day the Padres gave up 4 straight home runs (2 given up by Trevor) to blow the game is still burned in my memory.
