    inconsistant 500. 4.5 ERA pitcher, he has average written all over him. We're paying more than an "average" salary, but i will still give him one more shot. Perhaps this year he comes around.

    probably will, since he is a FA next year. players usually have an outstanding year just before FA.

    Just in casr you Brewers fans have not noticed. I think the Brewers are trying to be clever and sneaking Suckpan (I mean Suppan) into the #3 spot in the rotation. I think Melvin's pride is clouding his judgement. One of his first big FA signings, and he just won't accept the fact he made a HUGE mistake. That is why the Brewers always seem to be stuck in the land of mediocracy.
