Macha has nothing to do with it.......All he does is bring pitchers in and take them out....As far as I'm concerned he's 1000 times better than we've had.....

Macha dosen't know when to take pitchers out. And for some reason best known to himself, he kept on giving carlos (can't pitch) villaneuva a chance. Despite his 2-10 record with an above 6 ERA. Also he could do with using hoffman a bit more in close games. Let's face it, Hoffman rarley gets a chance to close out a game, so maybe Macha should consider using hoffman when we have a 1 run lead in the 8th, and put trevor in for the 8th and 9th. For example.. Against the Astros we were up by 1 run in the 8th, he puts in David Wheathers and he gives up a 2 run homer. If Macha had used Hoffman for the 8th and 9th, the game may have ened differently.

Actually he does know when to take pitchers out a hell of a lot better than Yost did. He tries to get them to pitch the 5th so they have a shot at getting the win. It's not his fault the front office doesn't know how to trade for pitching.

well usuallyour starting pitcher will be sucking ass and he just leaves them out there to dry! getting swept by the pirates is unforgivable.

Don't know what games you were watching the announcers even said our pitching was good for 2 out of 3 of those games we just didn't have run support. Gallardo didn't have a bad outing.
