Brewers Have A New Manager

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers "are expected to announce Ken Macha as their new manager" this week.
Macha, who managed the A's to a 368-280 record from 2003-2006, apparently beat out Bob Brenly and Willie Randolph for the job.

Don't know too much about Macha so the A's fans will have to give you a true opinion on Macha. I thought he did a nice job in Oakland.

Am i the only one who thinks Bob Uecker could manage? I meen think about it, he knows EVERYTHING about the Brewers. But i think macha will do i good job! Yost and melvin have built up this ballclup, and i think macha can put all of the pieces together, just look at his record. Randolf could have been nice to. But my favs (even though not even competing for the job) are still Uecker and Yount Well anyway, Let's see what the blond thinks, over to u blond!

I think Uecker is best served in the booth. I wish he helped call the World Series like he did sometimes back in the day on NBC. Baseball misses guys like him.

Probably wouldn't have been my first choice but at least they got someone. Also Dale Sveum is the new hitting coach!

Eh, Macha was ok. Nothing spectacular about him. The reason he was fired was because of problems with players and with the boss (aka Beane). Idk but I don't think Macha will have much more success in Milwaukee than he did in Oakland. He just doesn't seem like the right guy for that organization.

Well we gave 10 Mil to Cameron. Sheets better be gone along with Gagne then we'd be able to do something. They have made an offer for CC so we're just waiting on his agent.
