    Brewers Brewers Notes--Week 15

Week 15 starts out with a bang!! C. C. is acquired by the Brewers from the Indians for 4 prospects. Biggest name is Matt LaPorta, and Zach Jackson has minimal big league experience under his belt already. Just hope the Brewers can sign Sheets and/or Sabbathia in the off-season.

I believe he is a rental for the rest of the season. He already turned down 7 years, 42 million in the spring from the Indians. Brewers need to make noise this year.

possibly. Sheets is a FA and Fielder wants a big contract too. They are going to need to make some difficult decisions in the off-season.

Both would be stellar! Sheets, Sabathia, and Gallardo.......Hell of a starting lineup for that pen!

Yes both would be in a dream world, but I almost would rather have C. C. because he is younger and more durable. I would be satisfied with one of them. C.C., Gallardo, Parra is a nice threesome also. Or Sheets with Gallardo and Parra is just fine as well. Personally, I think Sheets will be easiesr to sign, becuase C.C. is more durable and a power pitcher as well.

there is an outside chance I suppose.. the owner has shown signs of willingness to increase payroll for the right player(s). It is going to be an interesting, yet nervous off-season for the fans. I suppose the ability to re-sign any of these guys will depend on this years results.

    To be continued............

Right now I would expect Rickie Weeks, JJ Hardy, and Corey Hart to be re-signed, if I had to choose between CC and Sheets I would also go with CC.

I would HATE to se Sheets go, but he just may have to. Despite him having HOF stuff he has never won more than 12 games in a season (he'd better this year though ) Although i would LOVE it if wecould re-sign sheets AND CC
