    Turnbow DFA'd

Brewers designated RHP Derrick Turnbow for assignment.

He'll likely clear waivers because no team will want to pick up his $3.2 million contract, at which point Turnbow could be sent back to Triple-A.
No surprise here as he has been beyond terrible. I can't see anyone wanting him.

Hard to believe how fast he fell off the map. I would not be surprised if someone takes a chacne on him. Pitching is a weird thing.

What is one team's failure, can be another team's treasure. Who knows.

He went from someone's junk heap, to a noted closer, back to the junk heap. So is the life of the reliever with big stuff and shaky control.

(How's his velocity looking? I heard it really dropped on the map, but that was just hearsay.)

    I hear ya' mission.

supposedly he still throws rather hard, but lost command of his control. He is mentality is his biggest liability right now. This could just be a classic situation of a change of scenery scenario.

I think he could be a decent MR. Given a chance to rebound. I mean, I don't see him as a closer or even a set up man, but he can be as good if not better than Aaron Heilman or Jorge Sosa.

Control has certainly been an issue with him. It's a hefty price tag, but he could be a good risk for some teams.

I could see the Phillies having interest or maybe the Cards.

I truly think a change of scenery will help him, and some team will take a chance on him.

How much did his velocity went down to? I remember just last year he threw 99+ when I saw him pitch against the Giants but he had horrible command.

I personally do see someone taking a chance on him, anyone who throws 99+ definitely will get another shot, plus maybe a new pitching coach and a change of venue may help aswell(as BF pointed)
