    Re: starting pitchers

This happens a lot at the start of the season. Managers have a tendency to pull the starter quicker in the cool spring weather. Once it gets warmer, the starters will usually go deeper into the game, and that trend will change.

BTW, Mitch Stetter got the win in yesterday's game.

    Re: starting pitchers

lets remember, pitching is supposedly what wins championships. And our starting pitching has been pretty good so far. If the Brewers make the playoffs, Sheets, Gallardo, and Suppan will be a tough threesome to beat in a 5 and 7 game series..

Lets just relax, the Brewers are only 2 games back and it is still April. If they are 2 out in September, we can panic a bit then.

IMO, who cares which pitcher gets the win, all I care about is the Brewers winning. WHatever it takes to win that is all I care about.

    Re: starting pitchers

indeed. our starting pitcher hasn't got the win for 10 games now after today! it seems to be the 6th inning.

    Re: starting pitchers

That is because the other teams are patient and they seem to get our starters pitch count up quickly and they can only go 6 innings then. But, as I said earlier, at least they are winning most of their games.

Even if they loose today, they are still 14-11 with pretty much no offense and Sheets is due back Tuesday as well as Cameron. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
