The Brewers placed closer Eric Gagne on the 15-day DL, and recalled pitcher Tim Dillard from AAA-Nashville.

The Brewers released Jeff Weaver today. He struggled in AAA ball, so the Brewers just decided to cut their ties with Weaver.

Eric Gagne is close to returning and the Brewers website said he will start out setting up Torres when he returns!!! An expensive set up guy, but right now Torres is the best man for the job!!!
