I totally agree. This team is full of young talented players and they need to keep this core bunch together as long as possible.

Look at what the Twins did with Morneau and Cuddyer. Morneau contributes pretty much the same number of runs to the Twins that Prince contributes to the Brewers (fielding included) and Prince should get a similar contract to the one Morneau just signed -- 6 yr/ $80+M. I think that would be a pretty fair deal and he would be willing to sign it.
Hart should be in line for a similar deal, but Weeks has to put a couple of good seasons together before I'd commit to him long-term. He has had a few problems. With a couple of middle infield prospects nearly ready to go, he could be traded for pitching and one of them could take 2B.

I cant see them giving Hart and even Weeks the same kind of cash. They deserve a raise, but not like the one Fielder and Braun are going to command.

The front office better keep their heads on straight.

Brewers are currently in talks with Fielder and Braun's agents. I sure hope they can get them signed long term and make them happy. Lets go Brewers, get it done!!!!

Yes it would.. He could also concentrate on baseball then. Not worry about contract stuff.

Prince is going to be just fine. He may be pressing a bit here in the early stages, but he will come around.
