I read somewhere that the Zstros are going to make a hard push for Cordero. I cant see him succeeding there. But who knows?

New York Newsday quotes an anonymous NL official as saying that the Brewers may look to trade Ben Sheets.

Like Johan Santana and C.C. Sabathia, Sheets is eligible to become a free agent following the 2008 season. He's set to make $11 million in 2008 and has a limited no-trade clause.
This might not be a bad idea. Sheets hasn't had a full healthy year in forever and isn't worth the money. Tons of teams would be interested and the Brewers could get some good young starters for him. Gallardo could be the next best thing in Milwaukee.

    Hmmm I like that idea.

Never know Carlos Lee was a big success there.

Knowing my luck and the Brewers' luck, Sheets will stay healthy and win the Cy Young or something.

I would hate to see him go, but I must admit, it might make sense, and also free up some major $$$$$.

uuuummm..... On second thought, I really hope that the Brewers dont trade him. He is the leader and the team plays so much more confident when he is in the rotation. Plus, he is a competitor, battles til the end.

Signed Randy Choate to a 1-year contract on Thursday. He will be in the bullpen next year.

Only if they can't re-sign Rivera.

    Choate is a middle reliever.
