    Bill Hall on the block?

What do Brewers fans think about possibly dealing Bill Hall?

You wouldn't know it from the playing time he got over the final month of the season but Bill Hall is still the Brewers' centerfielder, according to manager Ned Yost. Yost said he expected Hall back in center next season but it could be an interesting winter. Some clubs, including the White Sox, are looking for shortstop help and are expected to see if the Brewers make him available.

If they can get a top tier pitcher, I would be open to the idea, but if they are just trying to dump him, then I oppose the idea for sure!!!

pretty much the only reason to get rid of him. if you can get some solid pitching (lets be honest here, he wont bring anyone elite) in either prospects or major league ready guys then by all means, trading him is the smart move. pawning him off for lackluster pitching or for a middling position player, theres no reason to trade him. thatd be kind of foolish, IMO.

he's a pretty solid player and used right can be a strong asset to any organization.

I would only trade him for quality, top of the line pitchers.

I love Bill Hall, he is one of my favorite Brewers. But if the Brewers can land quality pitching, I can live with moving Bill Hall. I will be sad, but I would understand.

I was sad when the Brewers lost Scott Podsednik and Lyle Overbay, but understood it also.

The Giants have some pitching to give for a guy like Bill Hall. Didn't he just sign a deal before the 07 season?

Yes, but if he is truly on the block, then the Brewers had better not settle for unestablished players. To me, that would be a set back. If they did that with Mench or Gross, I could live with that.

Yeah Hall fits that Brewers team too well. I would love to have him on my team. Is Koskie dead?

No, Koskie is still recovering from post concussion syndrome. Probably will be released this year.
