The Brewers could have kept Matt Wise for roughly what they're paying both McClung and Greg Aquino, but it looks like GM Doug Melvin wants to take his chances with harder throwers next year. McClung gave up nine runs -- five earned -- in 12 innings after joining the Brewers in August. He'll contend for a bullpen spot in spring training.
