Exactly, there was no reason not to use Cordero to get out of the 9th. So it went extra innings so what? Hopefully Yost would have enough faith that the offense would take the lead and if you had to use Cordero for the 10th then so be it.

Well, as much as I hate to admit it, Codero is due to blow a save opportunity occassionally, and I thought the way things were going on that road trip, I thought that opportunity was going to happen last night!!!


Thank Goodness it didn't. But if it were to happen, I would rather it happen sooner than late in the year,or dare I say the playoffs! sssshhhhh... let's not jinx the mojo.
