    Brewers Brewers Notes--Week 4

    WEEK 4--SERIES 1 (#8 FOR THE YEAR)

    Milwaukee (11-7) vs. Chicago (7-11)

    Game 1-C. Vargas (1-0) C. Zambrano (1-2)

    Game 2-J. Suppan (2-2) R. Hill (3-0)

    Game 3-B. Sheets (1-2) T. Lilly (1-2)

Second road trip of the year, lets shoot for series wins again!! Lets take two of three as our goal.

I like Chicago to take 2 out of 3 here. Hill is pitching too good lately and I don't like the Vargas-Zambrano matchup for the Brewers. Should be an interesting series though, could go either way.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I hate to admit this, but you are probably correct on the Cubs taking 2 of 3. The Brewers usually, except the Friday of Easter weekend, hit Zambrano well, plus he opened his big mouth in that series. I would not be at all surprised if the Brewers don't plunk him when he bats. Maybe they feel they can loose Vargas for a game or so? Just a thought. I hope not, Brewers are playing well and I don't want any thing to jinx it, like someone getting hurt in a malay. Hill is due to have a let down and we have seen him once already this year, so who knows on that. Lilly has pitched better than I expected this year, so the Sheets-Lilly mathup could be a good one. I am ust excited cause I get to see a couple of the games on t.v.

Oh yeah, I hope we just don't give up back-to-back-to-back-to-back HR's. J/k, had to throw that in there, sorry!! It is all in good fun. I know your Yankees are struggling to find some pitching right now. But as we all know, they will rebound!

I don't know. Last place teams always seem to get the better of us...The Pirates did it last year...Hopin for the best! Vargas was outstanding once no reason he can't be again.

I agree with you Blondie. The Brewers really seem to play to the level of their competition. Lets hope we buck that trend, we have been doing better against past trends this year, maybe this will be another.
