    Brewers Brewer's Notes--week 5

    Week 5--Series #1 (#10 for the year)

Milwaukee (15-9) vs. St. Louis (10-13)

    Game 1-J. Suppan (3-2) vs. K. Wells (1-4)

    Game 2-B. Sheets (1-2) vs. B. Looper (3-1)

    Game 3-C. Capuano (4-0) vs. A. Reyes (0-4)

This is only if the Cardinals play, because of J. Hancock's death.

Again, the goal, especially on the road, win 2 of 3!!!

    Let's go Brewers!

I hope the Brewers do something special if they play tomorrow or the first time against the Cards. It would be a nice jesture to pay respect to the Hancock family and the Cardinals organization.

    GAME 25--

    St. Louis 1
    Milwaukee 7

Tough night after the tradegy of Josh Hancock for the Cardinals. You could definitely see they were not in the game mentally tonight. Tough loss in their baseball family is worse than the loss the Brewer's dealt them tonight.

    Suppan P.O.T.G.

    CG for Suppan!

Fielder and Estrada are the hitting stars!!

Great game for the Brewers, they have to almost feel bad about this one though.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Not only as a Brewers fan, but a baseball fan and what I feel as a compassionate person, I agree browntown. But the Brewers are doing pretty good at the start. But as they said on Baseball Tonight and during the game on ESPN, they were 14-11 at this time last year, and then the injury bug and losses piled up and QUICKLY too!

I am glad the ex-Cardinal got a complete game against his old mates. I think it may have been the perfect pitcher to suit up against the Cardinals the first game back from this horrible tragedy.. A little easier to get back into the swing of things for the Cards hopefully.

Great game last night, especially to be televised nationally. Shows people that the Brewers are a first place team and the hitting showed it too. Cards may not have been in it mentally which was a shame, but every dog has their day.

Well, unfortunately, the games must go on, and it stinks for the Cards and all of of baseball, but eventually, life will get back to normal somewhat, and the Cards will bounce back and re-focus.

Truly, good luck to the Cardinals in their time of mourning and sorrow.

    God Bless them all!!!

Series #2 (#10 of the Year)

Our first 4-game series of the year. Lets at least look for a split (2-2).

    Pittsburgh vs. Milwaukee

    Game #1-T. Gorzelanny (3-1) D. Bush (2-2)

    Game #2-P. Maholm (1-3) C. Vargas (2-0)

    Game #3-Z. Duke (1-2) J. Suppan (4-2)

    Game #4-T. Armas, Jr. (0-2) B. Sheets (2-2)

Go get'em Brewers, cause John Kruk's bold prediction last night on Baseball Tonight was that the Pittsburgh Pirates would be leading the Central at the end of May!!!

Lets put them a little farther behind, or at the very least, split with them to keep at the same distance to help that NOT happen!

    GO BREWERS!!!!
