HERE'S TO YA JOSE:


The Brewers sent Greg Aquino down to Nashville on Saturday. Instead of resalling Jose Capellan, they recalled Craig Spurling.


So Jose, call-ups happen throughout the year, especially with the Brewers. So, instead of just going to Nashville and pitch, you ask for a trade. Well, the Brewers let you know in another on Saturday, that team comes first, then individual.

I really wish you were willing to work things out and still be part of the team. I strongly believe that you are a talented pitcher, with a lot left in your career. Now, it looks like you either need to be patient and maybe even apologize to the Brewer organization, or you are going to be traded. Maybe not traded soon, or even ever, maybe the Brewers will just keep you in Nashville to set an example to the others, espceially the youngsters.

The Brewers did confirm that they had no intentions of calling up Jose Capellan over the weekend. They were afraid it would send the wrong message, especially for not showing up to two Nashville games without permission.

Jose Capellan has been re-called to the big club to replace Rickis Weeks on the 25-man roster. He seems to regret his very rough start, not with his ability so much, but with the attitude. I hope for the best for Jose and hope he stabilizes the bullpen and takes some pressure off Wise and Turnbow especially!!
