still like Braun @ 3rd, but that didn't mean bat him 3rd. He is not ready for that spot in the lineup. I was shocked when Yost had him in the 2 hole also. I like him down in the 7th or 8th hole in the lineup!!

Congrats to Graf--Huge 2 out hit tonight that plated 2 RBI's for him. Maybe he will start turning things around. I truly believe he is more comfortable @ 2nd rather than 3rd. Maybe that is why he was off to a slow start, nervous @ 3rd? who knows, as long as he can produce while Rickie is healing!!

Braun just hit a 2R-HR. he is 2-2 tonight so far.

Braun 3-3 now and a triple away from the cycle.. also has a BB tonight as well.

Braun's #'s tonight (3-3, 2B, 2R-HR, BB, and 3 R's scored tonight--now batting .an even, cool .300), but his 1st major league error tonight in the 9th spoiled the perfect evening.


Graffanino had a nice night (2-4 , clutch 2-out, 2 RBI double, but a base-running blunder getting thrown out at 3rd making the crucial 3rd out @ 3rd with the pitcher spot up next, makes it even worse. Now batting .204, back over the mendoza line, at least temporarily). Can't do those kinds of things if you want to win and make the playoffs, and then have success in the playoffs.

A very important key is to execute the little things in baseball, and know who is up after you, etc. One thing I will give him credit though, is he is hustling and battling even through a long start of the season!

Since we won, I can forgive him this time.
